Celbrating not quite Christmas Eve tonight with my Jewish husband and my not quite so Jewish son on the UES of Manhattan, I am thinking about you and your family during this holiday season. We just all shared a nice dinner together, as we will do tomorrow, with nice food, and time together.

Thanks! We're on our way to see our relatives--my husband's relatives--in Bavaria. Anticipating good food, good company, good beer. Outside the train window the landscape is getting wilder--I like to imagine I'm on the way to Hogwarts . . .
